DID YOU KNOW ?
Since its birth in the Chinese Han Dynasty in AD 105, paper has travelled the world and matured into the paper we use today.

Ballot Papers: Enabling authentic voting
From social conspiracies to family affairs, secrets permeate every level of society. While some secrets strive to see the daylight, some others are best kept a secret. Like one’s vote. If voting during election is a secret, the only entity that knows yours is the ballot paper. It keeps your vote a secret and yet lets you express your choice of representatives.

The ballot papers from A. Daga Group are packed with a bundle of anti-counterfeit security features that simplify recognition of forged ballots. The planning to produce these ballot papers begins at the printing press. From printing to delivery, the entire process is executed under multiple layers of security with each ballot paper having many layers of security features.

Post delivery, A. Daga Group ensures that every speck of the confidential data is destroyed to leave no space for objectionable activities.

Inked to boost security
Special security inks are utilized for printing ballot papers to defy counterfeiting and ensure transparent elections:

  • Invisible Ultra Violet (UV) Ink: The features printed in invisible UV inks are only revealed when placed under UV light
  • Thermochromic Inks: The temperature sensitive inks appear and disappear at different temperatures
  • Magnetic Inks: Typically used for printing serial numbers, the inks are read through specially designed machines
  • Fugitive Inks: Once in contact with water, these inks run to smudge the printing, indicating a forgery
  • Secondary Fluorescing Inks: Used as an added security measure, these inks do not glow under UV light, unless an alteration has occurred
  • Coin reactive inks: The invisibly printed area is revealed by a simple abrasion produced by the nickel in a coin

Aimed to achieve utmost security
Specially ordered watermark papers, in various sizes and patterns simplify identification of authentic ballot paper from the duplicate. Nearly invisible micro text is printed to create an impression of an image. 1-D and 2-D Bar codes based on random logic manage the sequence and assign specific values for type, region or location. Further, anti-copying feature authenticates any document from duplication through photocopying or scanning. Intricate Guilloche Patterns are printed to make the identity of the authentic papers even more obvious. Printed Hologram stickers take the security to a higher level.

When ballot papers come with hidden features, A. Daga Group provides magnifying glass, UV torches and lamps as a means of reading them, helping take security levels to the maximum.

In life, we all have secrets we’ll never tell anyone or tell everyone to not to tell anyone.
But when it comes to voting, ballot papers from A. Daga Group ensure that your vote is a best-kept true secret. Moreover, their anti-counterfeiting features eliminate the chances of duplicate ballot papers; so that every vote casted is authentic and true to the voter.
